Haselrig didn't qualify as a freshman (3rd in DII, I believe...) and then went on to win three straight titles in both DII and DI.

I like the idea of review, but has anyone ever seen a call overturned from video review? I haven't. It did seem like possibly a couple "no calls" could have been take downs after you reviewed them from the ESPN camera angles. And why do they always say " The refs are not looking at our camera angles. They have their own camera". Is ESPN camera angles not good enough? Let us see what the refs see if theirs is "better". I think they should have a camera angle from above looking down on the mat just like they now have in the NFL. That would provide a different perspective.
This versus the non-stop hand fighting where nobody does anything, except for the occasional shoot them off the mat or get a stalemate and then not even that, save for a serious flurry late in a period, and then when one gets a lead does everything possible to get a little riding time and then hang on to the lead, knowing refs won't call stalling, and if you at least look busy all is good?
A guy who at least gets it on the mat, takes even bad shots (it would seem a good wrestler could do something with a bad shot) and initiates action gets called out?
