Standing: Control the other persons hand and keep a balanced position
Bottom: Keep you hips under you
Top: Hip to hip and make the carry your weight.

As simple as I can.

Standing-Hand control and on the balls of your feet while in your stance
Bottom-Hand control and quasi-vertical at all times
Top-Hip pressure and always in good position

nice, this is what I was looking for.

to take a complicated topic and boil it down to its basic fundementals shows mastery of that topic.
