It's great to have a new haven away from the ridiculous posts on themat. With idiots running wild using a variety of screen names just to troll and idiots just posting random crap. It's great to make the move over here now.

Yeah I was, I'm sure I will frequent there from time to time because there still is some good discussion on there but for the most part I will be here.  I had a good 4 years on there but it was time to make a move.

Tech they deleted me and I was a top 10 all time poster with 12K plus posts,

They deleted me for posting a link to an article about 2 new Gopher recruits, I have no Idea how that violated any rules.

The final dagger for me was the selected deletion of threads. For so many years they were never so unnerved until we criticized Sesker's message.

There obviously are no rules over there or else there wouldn't be problems over there.  When people are allowed to run wild making racist, sexist, and foul comments and still be able to post, then people who post good information get the boot it is pretty ridiculous.

Agreed, wait till you see the full new www.theopenmat.com

It will be live hopefully in a month or so, and I assure you by the time next season rolls around, it will be the best wrestling site and resource around. We are holding nothing back. We will work with other sites and promote all things good about wrestling. Full of original interviews, etc...

I almost always chuckled at Marston's posts.  That guy has a great sense of humor.  There should be a law similar to disturbing the peace that applies to the internet.  What dumdum is doing to themat is no different.  Shame, really.

Yes of course I have no issues with people posting flo on here, they are linked in my blog and website. I will also be contacting them to try and get more of a working relationship together.

The concept of the Openmat is to become a promoter and marketer of the sport as a whole!

Although I was a very infrequent poster on themat.com the final straw for me was the Sesker column and subsequent deletion of posts.  One of my posts was deleted which did challenge the Sesker article but was in no way malicious or in bad taste.  I was just responding to the article with my point of view.  I did suggest that individuals could also email Mr. Sesker (which is public information on TheMat) directly but I never did post his email address.  I hope to be welcomed on this sight and look forward to maybe posting more often on wrestling topics.
