You're right, Oliver probably wins next time and DSJ probably wouldn't get the major.  I also think Telford avoids getting thrown and avoids getting majored.  And like you already said, other matches could go either way as well.  Marion could major Kindig, Lofthouse could beat Perry, Wagner could lose...

Fuhr, I'm ready to take my medicine as soon as you let me know what it is.  I resigned myself to losing the sig bet when JO lost, but at that point I also thought Iowa would win the meet.  So I'm happy the good guys managed to escape with a win.

You never answered my queries about whether the sig period would be a week or a month.

Did any of you see Barry Davis at the meet last night? He was up in section J with Ryan Morningstall.

Since okie state won, can we just give them the title already?

JO is probably feeling bad, but he'll get over it and do well.  The loss is especially tough for him because he read in the TOM Forum a while back that in a time machine match, he would easily beat Yojiro Uetake, who went undefeated in his college career and gave up no offensive points in his senior year.

JO gave up no offensive points in his sophomore season.  There are worse things that could happen to him than a loss in January against an opponent he will have up to two more shots at this season.

Its amazing that Oklahoma State can beat Iowa, but I'm having a hard time enjoying it.  Byers needs to make 184 and find a way to be an AA and some of the other guys need to find a way to fulfill their potential.  I'm not worried about JO because he has earned the benefit of the doubt after last season.  He will get it right.

I am ecstatic for Z and Rosholt.  I should be ecstatic for the undefeated Parks and Perry, but its harder with them.

Not sure if anyone else asked this or not, but is that tie-breaker rule new or what?

It is new this year.  They've always had criteria for dual tournaments, but this year they decided to apply them to all duals.

They wanted to change the rules in case DSJ was hurt and the Hawkeyes would therefore tie with OSU prolonging the streak.  Everyone in wrestling is against Iowa so they changed the rules to try and bring them down.

Fuhr, I'm still waiting for you to collect on our sig bet.  When does the time start?  Is the clock running now, or do I have to wait for you to give me a new sig?
