Causing uproars on that other site about a fifth-place vote in the Intermat Wrestler of the Year Award...and certainly understandably so.

Who would get bent out of shape about something so obscure!?  Some reak wackos out there..

Our outdoor club just got back from a steelhead fishing trip. Let's just say, it's the kind of trip dreams are made of. I'll post some pics of the fish.

Like brycemus, watching lots of MLB. Going to Arizona next week to visit son & his family while scheduling in a couple of ASU/Stanford softball games and a few rounds of golf.

That's because they are Sturgeon, not Steelhead.

Prehistoric creatures for sure ...  up to and more then 200# and 100+ years old .... 16-18 feet in the Columbia River system, up into the Snake in Idaho !!!  We caught some a few years back, and drove them from Portland to Seattle, and when we got home they were still alive in the back of the truck!! Best smoked fish you will ever taste. NO BONES ... (exoskeleton).

Best bait is dead stinking stuff. ....

I've gotten back to putting stuff up for sale on eBay.  Things I couldn't get a bid on when the economy was really bad are going pretty quick now.  In the last couple of weeks, I've sold two HP 54111D digital oscilloscopes that I refurbished to good working order after buying them cheap as non-working parts units.  I've also sold two calibrated 10 MHz frequency standards I built up from Efratom FRS-C rubidium oscillators. I have a third one up for bid now, if anyone's interested.

My wife's mother, 3 sisters, and 2 nieces are visiting for a few days.  Add to that my 3 daughters and that's a 10 to 1 ratio...
