Of course, why should they raise the pay for a coaching spot that a total of 4 people are talking about on the Indiana boards?

agree!!! this is a shame,  if you want big change you need to pony up as the other poster said.   will they is the question? I hear Lanham has made it to the round of 3.  other question does Rodgers stay as assistant?   I am sure he is lobbying big time to stay.

well the wrestler that wanted change In the coaching staff,  he got it!  what do you say Bob Dole

I would agree on Rodgers,  although if you ask the upper weights that worked with Wissel I would think they would love to have him back in the room.  Atwood and his little brother Lynde would benefit greatly!  just m.o.

Once again I'll reiterate my statement that NO ''big name'' coach will take either the IU or Purdue jobs (should IU open up ) simply because both programs ARE PATHETIC. Scott was almost turning the corner at Purdue yet IU is a pit of despair
At either school the AD should offer a slight salary increase with a TON of incentives along with a guaranteed 5-7 year contract.Purdue will be a much better team than IU next year and beat IU in their dual this year yet Hinkle gets fired ? while Goldman is the picture of medioicrity ?!?

Wrestling is so meaningless at IU 2 of their better asst. coaches left because they coudn't feed their family on their salaries .(DeGain and LeBlanc)
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.
