Sweetest move that wrestler ends up being scored on....
« on: March 09, 2015, 03:32:26 PM »
...would be Ness's lateral of Martinez.

Crazy thing was that after Ness drills him, not only does Ness NOT score but Martinez actually rolls through so quick and scores the takedown himself.

THAT was impressive!

I had to rewind that a couple of times to follow that action.  it was pretty crazy.  the ankle pick by Bo was pretty slick and then he got karate kicked in the ankle and lost it.

Wow, that was by far the best match of the finals and arguably the entire tourney.  I've seen Ness beaten before but I've never seen him out-Nessed so handily.  I hope they meet again in the NCAA finals.

Most guys would have been dumbfounded by Ness' move and pinned. Martinez said "Nice move, but allow me to retort." He wasn't afraid of that Ness funk. By far the best match of the tournament.

I think that Ness should lock up with IMar and throw, as Ness has the leverage and skillset to do so.  IMar scores off of guys trying to back out of his underhook and if they meet again Ness will be confronted with that underhook.  Don't run from it, embrace it.

Wow, lots of upper body stuff that Ness lost.  Quite the match!

Not a good idea in my opinion. Martinez is faster and has better balance. Kinda like Mark Schultz vs Banach.

Ness needs to spend about an hour with Chandler and he will own that position.

Loved the interview with Martinez. Looks like a young Peter Falk, haha! Kid LOVES to wrestle. Got to like that attitude.
