Smith squeaked by.  Bonus points are important but it was 5-5 against Wyoming.  That is not a good sign.

Kaid took a gamble and lost and was not able to climb back into it in time.
Heil was seconds from finishing in OT and ran out of gas.  He looked spent at the end, but honestly who isn't when you head to tiebreakers?
Rogers always seems to have a few ugly matches where he looks like a guy who has no shot at being an AA.  This was one of those.  Ashworth has been solid, but I wouldn't have seen him as a guy to beat Rogers.

Yeah - I think Pueblo is ONLY 4500 feet above sea level, whereas Laramie WY is 6000.  I suppose for an NCAA tourney they could get there early to get acclimated.

Still - it HAS been a while!

CSU is in Ft. Collins. CSUP in Pueblo.

Yes, I was just thinking this morning Denver would be a nice spot.

Ft Collins is at 5000,  300' shy of a mile high.
Laramie is 7000.  Certainly would appear practicing at 7000 all reason would generate a little edge at season end tourneys.

Okie State actually practiced at my high school which is around 4800 ft a few hours before the dual. Was quite the sight to see I must say.

Did you take that opportunity to teach Heil a thing or two?
