Apparently there has been quite the buzz over DeSanto trying to take out Micic at the end of their match - when he was losing 11-1.  I guess it was some kind of MMA move?

All I know is he tried to jump over him and grab his arm with like 7 seconds left.  On another forum there were 3 different topics dedicated to vilifying the kid.

It looks like wrestling fans in many places are rooting for DeSanto to get lit up after his actions at the end of his match with Micic in the QFs.

I'll make my picks fors the semis:

125: Suriano - Tomasello (Lee's wrestling on fire, but the 3rd time will be the charm for NaTo against another hawkeye in the semis).
133: Gross - Micic
141: McKenna - Yianni
149: Retherford - Kolodzick
157: Hidlay - Nolf (I'll be shocked if Jordan beats Nolf, even if Nolf isn't 100%)
165: Martinez - Joseph
174: Valencia - Hall
184: Nickal - Martin
197: Conel - Darmstadt
285: Snyder - Coon

I didn't watch that one, but will try to find it in TrackWrestling's vault.

Sig bet for anyone willing to take Toma pulling a Molinaro going under Lee.

Yeah, I'd like to see that Desanto Micic match.  At least the last 10 seconds.  Micic just beat him good and then I hear desanto went MMA on him.  I'm glad Micic is ok.

125: Suriano - Lee: I can't bring myself to pick against the Lee mystique. I'd pick Lee in a freestyle match against Gilman at this point. I'm tainted.
133: Gross - Micic
141: McKenna - Yianni
149: Retherford- Kolodzick
157: Hidlay - Nolf:
165: Martinez - McFadden: Marinelli can only win by putting himself at risk. He could win by fall, or Martinez could win by fall. Any outcome other than fall goes to Martinez.
174: Valencia -Hall
184: Nickal- Martin
197: Conel- Darmstadt: I just want this f***ing guy to win it all.
285: Snyder - Coon

Suriano/Lee
Valencia/Hall
Nickal/Martin
Snyder/Coon

What a night that would be.

The top of 125 is lighting it up:

Nathan Tomasello (Ohio State)   14
Spencer Lee (Iowa)   14
Zain Retherford (Penn State)   14
Nick Suriano (Rutgers)   13.5

Last few seconds of the desanto Micic match.  Should be DQ'd in my opinion.  Since he was not, coaches should make him sit.

Welp. Lee got the first takedown, and I think that already decides the match even though there's still much time left. He is just so good on top.

WOW. I've never seen anyone handle Tomasello like that.

Cruz just looked afraid to engage Suriano.

Lee is also just so classy. Can't root against him.

Gross gets taken to OT, but he salvages it with a pin. Did not expect Wilson to compete with Gross so closely.
