When exactly did he morph into Mr. Tough Guy?  New Jersey strong and all that nonsense.  If New Jersey was so great why didn't he go to Rutgers?

The kid has a well above average brain and parents that well afford to send him there.

The real question is, why didn't he opt for Princeton.  Because Princeton on the mat then isn't the Princeton on the mat today.

NJ boys that think they are hard are a dime a dozen. Rivera will get smoked at NCAAs.

Another one of your tardful comments.  You have never met the kid and have no clue about his personality.

Iowa needs some more room guys at the lower weights, so I think he is planning on a grad school transfer like Eierman did.

Looking like Rutgers for next year.

That's been confirmed.  He's heading back to his Jersey roots.   He and Suriano would go at in HS.  At the time he was recruited RU had Ashnault locked in at 141. Suriano is undecided at the moment.  He could take his red shirt year to prep for the 21 Olympics.  Planning on being at 57 kg puts him in at 125.  No one sees him bouncing between 57 kg and 133.

125 - Suriano
133 - Alvarez
141 - Sebas

Not too shabby.

the alternative
125 - Aguilar
133 - Suriano
141 - Sebas

Suriano hasn't decided.

He has a red shirt year available since he was out last year on the Olympic waiver. He may well forego his last year of eligibility to focus on the Olympic Trials.  if he decides to red shirt, he gets 21/22 eligibility.  If he doesn't, he's done.at the collegiate level.  The only real difference is that he would have to carry 12 credits each term to retain the red shirt, while practicing freestyle.

He also has the option to skip the fall term and re-enroll for the spring term catching the tail end of the 2021 season, if there is 2020 front end.

Personally, I think the fall term is going to see prolific infection rates on many campuses given typical college student behavior.  You may well see all fall and winter sports pushed to spring starts with championships extending into July. There's even the possibility some sports may see the entire year scratched, particularly with close contact sports.like wrestling.  The only way to avoid cancellation would be to undertake a massive infection testing protocol for all student athletes and coaches.
