COVID Bounces NC State from CWS

1 player tests pos, 13 others get quarantined.  The NCAA officials pull them from the tournament semi and send Vanderbilt to the final.

It would have been better to lose in the super regional than make it to the semis only to get tossed over A COVID test.

It would have been worse if it happened a day later and if they won the scheduled game against Vandy.  Having to forfeit the best two of three title games would be miserable.  Even worse if they won the first title game and then had to forfeit.  It still sucks all around.

As it is, the SEC has both finalists in Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.

MSU had a nice comeback against Texas, but blew a big opportunity to blow it open with the bases loaded and one out.

Vandy won 2 of the 3 regular season games but there was good scoring from both teams in all 3.  The first 2 games should be close.
