The SEC does have a ten year, $3 billion TV deal that may need to be renegotiated if the conference adds new members. (I don't think that deal includes the SEC network.) The Orlando Sentinel said the conference had distributed over $50 million to each school last year. You would think that with that kind of money they could afford to have wrestling programs.
By the way, they also said that the Alabama quarterback already has over a million dollars in NIL agreements, and he hasn't started a game yet! This is considered amateur athletics?!?
