Updated list of qualifiers for 2021 U.S. Senior World Team Trials in Lincoln, Neb., as of August 17

Below is a list of the qualifiers for the 2021 U.S. Senior World Team Trials, which will be held in Lincoln, Neb., September 11-12, as determined by the following 2021 World Team Trials Selection Procedures.

According to the World Team Selection Procedures, 2020 Olympic medalists can choose to compete at the 2021 World Championships at the same weight class where they won their Olympic medal. Eight 2020 Olympic medalists have accepted their spot on the 2021 World Team. That means these eight weight classes will not be contested at the 2021 World Team Trials: Men’s freestyle (57 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, 97 kg) and women’s freestyle (50 kg, 57 kg, 68 kg, 76 kg).

These are the 22 weight classes which will be contested in Lincoln.
Men’s freestyle (6): 61 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 79 kg, 92 kg, 125 kg
Women’s freestyle (6): 53 kg, 55 kg, 59 kg, 62 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg
Greco-Roman (10): 55 kg, 60 kg, 63 kg, 67 kg, 72 kg, 77 kg, 82 kg, 87 kg, 97 kg, 130 kg

Athletes may enter any of the available weight classes in the discipline that they qualified, regardless of what weight class they competed at in the qualifying process. For instance, any athlete who qualified in the eight weight classes not being contested can still wrestle in the World Team Trials, but must enter at one of the available weight classes in their style at the World Team Trials. The list below only indicates the weight where the athlete qualified, but the athlete can change to a different available weight class.

The 2021 Senior World Championships will be held in Oslo, Norway, October 2-10.

Kyle Snyder - Titan Mercury ?  Last I heard he was still with the Nittany Lion Club. Sanderson was in his corner at the Olympics.  Did he just switch affiliation ?

My guess is it is a typo.  I think Sanderson has done good things for him.  Let's not forget Casey Cunningham.  That guy is a monster coach really.

Interestingly, Green won 70kg.  JO beat Zain and Green beat JO.  Burroughs took 79 but may have hurt his calf for the trouble.  Themat forums talk a little about it and who knows if he will make it to the big stage in Oslo.  Cox went through and did not get scored on and was angry at the world apparently.  I did not watch his video after winning.  Seems like he wants to be the "bad guy".  Honestly, I hope he doesn't win.  Put up or shut up I say and he did not perform like he was on a mission just from looking at the match scores.  No one scored on his but Moore made him wrestle 2 full matches.  So no put up, so shut up.

Fix won and now there are questions if he should be allowed due to drug sanctions placed on him some time ago.  Some people are never happy.  Yianni finally made a world Team so good for him.  I hope he does well. 

Anyway, the team is set and we'll see how they do!

Killer team and we should do well.  Olympic gold medalists, Olympic Silver medalist, Olympic Bronze medalist, World Champions, World medalists.  Only Fix and Yianni have no Sr level medals but they do have Jr and Cadel level medals.  With this resume, TEAM USA should bring home plenty of hardware and may even win the team championship.  At the Olys, Russia beat us 105 to 100 for the team championship according to Wikipedia.  Go TEAM USA!!
