Northern IA 19 OK St. 15

Would have still won w that 197 lber in the lineup. The southern part of the country should just stick with what they're good at. Conspiracy theories, guns, and corrupt mega-churches.

It's hard enough pulling 2 upset bouts, UNI got 4

Oklahoma State gave up 2 more upsets in losing to Iowa State today 20-12.  When was the last OSU lost consecutive duals at home?

Your statement makes no sense at all whatsoever.  OK St has been one of the top wrestling teams whereas WI has not.  Neither has WA or OR.   Current rankings as of Jan 25, 2022:

1    Penn State    Big Ten    119    1
2    Michigan    Big Ten    89.5    3
3    Iowa    Big Ten    85    2
4    Oklahoma State    Big 12    65.5    4 (T)
5    Arizona State    Pac-12    65    4 (T)

6    Ohio State    Big Ten    49.5    8 (T)
7    NC State    ACC    47    7
8    Nebraska    Big Ten    45    6
9    Cornell    EIWA    40.5    8 (T)
10    Virginia Tech    ACC    39    10
11    Minnesota    Big Ten    38    11
12    Cal Poly    Pac-12    33    15
12    Iowa State    Big 12    33    14
14    Rutgers    Big Ten    28.5    12
15    Missouri    Big 12    26.5    13
16    Stanford    Pac-12    24.5    17 (T)
17    Northwestern    Big Ten    24    17 (T)
18    Wisconsin    Big Ten    22.5    16
19    Illinois    Big Ten    21.5    19 (T)
20    North Carolina    ACC    21    19 (T)

Funny that most of those that you are considering south are, in fact, mid-latitude. OK St. ranking will be tanking BTW. North has always been superior in most things, especially wrestling and war, and always will.

Two of Missouri's best wrestlers (including O'Toole) are actually from WI. Dieringer from OK St. was also actually from WI. They've done a crappy job of keeping the in-state talent and hopefully that changes.

ASU is also soft. Didn't they just lose to Princeton and somebody else? That ranking needs to drop too. Not sure where they get their wrestles from.

...and Askren continues to divert in-state talent to Missouri. They should be paying him.

WI's top recruit for '22, Clayton Whiting, has signed for Missouri.

You are just so prejudiced.   That used to be a bad thing, but now it is hailed as something noble.

I don't like the south. I wish they had won the Civil War.

Well, I had been to Wisconsin once on business and thought Milwaukee was a decrepit, run down rust belt city.  Different strokes for different folks  (and no, I haven't been to Madison).

I agree that MIlwaukee isn't great. I had to quit a job once because I refused to move to the Milwaukee area. I've been to much worse armpits in the south though. People are generally stupid, liars, and immoral too. Spineless. Nice to your face but stab you in the back as soon as you turn around.

I was in the army for 3 years and served time with plenty of southern redneck hillbillies. Generally tried to stay away from them as much as possible and always kept an eye on my personal property if they came near my living quarters.

Didn't matter if they were black, white, yellow or green. If they were from the south I stayed away from them. I learned that they don't call it the "dirty south" for nothing. Lots of slime bags.

Which parts of the south have you visited?  Most of the worst slime bags I've met in Florida were northern transplants.

It doesn't matter Bob.  Everyone he has met from the south is a slimeball 100%.  Therefore, all people from the south are slimeballs 100%.

Lived at Ft. Sill (adjacent to Lawton, OK) for 2 years. From there, I travelled to a lot of towns in OK & TX. Besides that, I've made multiple trips (business & personal) to the dirty south. TX, MS, LA, TN, NC, NV, UT, CO, southern CA, KS, MO, AL, KY, AZ, & NM. I know some of those are mid-latitude but just in case you were wondering.

Southern CA and southern UT were pretty nice but the rest of them sucked in comparison to the great north. The southeastern part of the absolute armpit of the nation. SW is hit and miss.

You just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper.  It is apparent you saw what you expected to see in your travels.  You really think it is ok to be prejudiced.  If I said similar things about black people, homeless people, rioters, arsonists, etc,  you would be all over me for my prejudice.  The US Space Program is based primarily in the south, TX, LA, AL, and FL.  But those people are all scumbags.

I've traveled quite a bit myself.  I have found that most people anywhere in the world are basically good people.  But maybe that was what I expected to see.
