I was under the impression that Evan Wick had another year of eligibility remaining but it appears that the staff at WrestleStat does not believe that to be the case.  I say that because I noticed today that Evan Wick is no longer listed on their projected lineup for Cal Poly for the 2023 season.   No sign of him at all.

I guess Shane Griffith can breathe a deep sigh of relief if that IS IN FACT the case.  I say that because Griffith lost three times to Wick during the 2021-2022 season before upsetting Wick at the 2022 NCAA tournament with a last second takedown on the edge of the mat.

WrestleStat is currently listing Max Anderson as Cal Poly's projected starter at 165 lbs for the 2023 season.  Anderson went 0-5 last season vs Div. 1 wrestlers at 165 lbs.  He had only one win last season and that was a TF win over some guy from San Francisco State.

As far as I can see, he has 1 year of eligibility remaining

Wisconsin
2016-17 Red shirt
(1) 2017-18 NCAA 3rd Place
(2) 2018-19 NCAA 4th place
(3) 2019-20 Qualified for NCAA's that didn't occur, NWCA All American
2020-21 Olympic waiver

Cal Poly
(4) 2021-22 2nd place
(5) 2022-23 COVID bonus Year

Who knows, NIL cash is flying all over the place.  Maybe he's hunting around for a deal elsewhere.

That was my conclusion as well.  But maybe after having been an NCAA wrestler since 2016 maybe he's chosen to get on with life.   I certainly don't know.  But according to this 2 week old article found on the "Mustang News" website (Cal Poly's mascot is the Mustang) "Evan Wick ended his collegiate career":
