Since this is so slow here lately

I thought I'd entertain myself with an examination of the "Holes" in the lineups for the three PAC 12 wrestling teams that are full PAC 12 member schools.  By "Holes" I mean the weakest weight classes in the projected 2023 lineups for these three PAC 12 wrestling teams.  I consider a "Hole" to be any weight class where the projected starter for a team is ranked by WrestleStat as # 30 or lower.  So here goes:

ARIZONA STATE'S "HOLES"

141 lbs - # 30 ranked Jesse Vasquez - Missed most of last season due to injury

165 lbs - # 69 Kendall Norfleet

174 lbs - # 54 Cael Valencia

184 lbs - # 120 ranked Josh Nummer OR # 114 ranked Jonathan Fagen

OREGON STATE'S "HOLES"

133 lbs - # 48 ranked Jason Shaner Jr.

149 lbs - # 47 ranked Tristan Lara

174 lbs - # 46 ranked Aaron Olmos

197 lbs - # 31 ranked Ryan Reyes

285 lbs - # 154 ranked Hayden Still

STANFORD'S "HOLES"

125 lbs - ______________ - With Logan Ashton in the Transfer Portal (assuming he transfers elsewhere) Stanford has only # 277 ranked Suhas Chundi and two incoming true freshman unless Jackson DiSario drops back down to 125 lbs

133 lbs - # 73 ranked Jackson DiSario

141 lbs - # 132 ranked Luciano Arroy

157 lbs - # 80 ranked Charlie Darracott or # 64 ranked Fabian Santillan

184 lbs - # 126 ranked Nick Addison

197 lbs - # 51 ranked Nick Stemmet

285 lbs - # 91 ranked Peter Ming

Arizona State has the fewest "Holes" but overall I think Oregon State has a more balanced lineup as a team.   Stanford is clearly the team (of these three PAC 12 wrestling teams) with the most "Holes" to fill IMO.   And losing Real Woods and Logan Ashton are a big part of the reason that is the case (assuming Ashton does in fact transfer elsewhere).
Never argue with a fool.  They bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.  -Anonymous
