Dennis beat Gomez ... they were both #1s going into this match ... and after I have to say that Dennis should be the new consensus #1.

The big news out of this dual was M* taking a dump and the Hawkeyes heavyweight Erekson getting a leg injury.  I'll find out later if it was serious.

He was already pretty close to that going into the weekend well at least according to the power rankings. I see him as the uncontested one after the weekend as long as he beats strayer. If he loses I have no idea who will be and Strayer may move way up.

1 Daniel Dennis Jr. Iowa 1.6
2 Reece Humphrey Jr. Ohio State 3.2
3 Jimmy Kennedy Jr. Illinois 3.2
4 Franklin Gomez Jr. Michigan state 4
5 Jayson Ness Jr. Minnesota 4.4

I like Slaton as the new #1.  He hasn't lost in ages.

Yeah, Dennis has to be #1.  Even without Humphrey's loss to Ness, Dennis is #1 in my opinion.
