look on themat college board and you will see a thread with a link to nick sulzer's verballing to UVA
via an intermat article.

so i saw that, and posted a link to TOMs interview with sulzer.

themat mods deleted it.

so what's the difference between a link to an intermat article and a link to a TOM interview?

so i posted it again.

they deleted it agian and banned me.

let me explain what's going on here:

1)several of themat mods are employed by/friends of/work with intermat.

2) TOM's features and articles are cutting into the craptastic 'journalism' and coverage the intermat wants you to pay for.

do the math.


they are a bunch of pansies. at best it's childish. at worst, it's very unprofessional. furthermore, if i were USAW i wouldn't want my boards moderated by people out for their own means and employing unfair practices.  there is definitely a conflict of interest. in the end, less wrestling information is disseminated. why? because intermat doesn't like to be outworked.

yeah. i just hope when the season rolls around, we recruit enough people to our boards that it becomes inconsequential anyway.

the thing is, it doesn't have to be this way at all. it never had to be a competition. not from my perspective. i guess, from their end, when we're providing for free what they want people to pay for, it becomes problematic.

oh well. guess they'll have to deal with it. we're not going away anytime soon.

the thing that gets me though, is the cowardly and shady way they go about it.

I will differ with you on that5 opinion.  Themat was horribly run, now, I believe that JB does a fantastic job.  I think you know who is really the problem.
