No rain yesterday, no rain today of tomorrow.  Gotta hound this mason.

How's that back coming along Bob ?
Getting a little better every day.  Going through physical therapy now.  I am WAY out of shape after doing almost no physical activity for about a year.  I feel like I am about 85% over the effects of the surgery, but only about 20% improvement (so far) over the symptoms i had the surgery to correct.  I still have tingling and numbness in the left leg, with (very) occasional stabbing pains.  The doctor says it may be 6 to 18 months (if ever) before the numbness is gone.  I think I should be well enough to start mowing the lawn again next month.  I am trying to be a good patient and work hard at what they want me to do and not get impatient and do something stupid that my body is not ready for yet.

The key here is progress.  As long as you make progress, it'll all work out.

Good luck with that Bob.   My wife just had shoulder surgery and was told, 3 months after, that she has another 3  months or so until it feels back to normal word.    These things take a long time to recover from.

Especially at my age!

I'm looking on the bright side.  I'm still getting around ok and am making progress.  This is nothing, relatively speaking.  My mom went through chemo for the first time at age 80, then again a few years later and again a couple of years after that.  I hope I don't have the opportunity to prove that I am as tough as she was!

Some mason work might be the therapy you need. Run up and knock a concrete project out. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Have a tremendous day word!

The boomers cracked directly overhead at 5:00 AM and actually shook the house they were so low.  The lightning lit the place up like the sun was shining

Less than 1" of rain here in July.  1/2" so far this month.  We have sandy loam soil which drains moisture quickly, so we've had to water the trees.  We're thinking about installing a well and irrigation as most others have around here due to soil drainage.

Around here, getting a county permit to dig a well is next to impossible.  If you don't already have a well, you won't be getting one most likely.  Welcome to the socialist paradise that is King County, WA word.
