Fantasy League Money Pot
« on: October 31, 2009, 10:37:07 PM »
Obviously we didnt get this set up in time to make any kind of buy in.

However I love gambling and would definitely love to get some kind of money pot involved here.  Would anyone else be interested?  Winnings would of course be limited to people who chipped in money.

Nothing gratuitous, maybe $10?

I'm not trying to put a damper on anything, but you might want to ask V first if he approves.

Pshhh...  why would he not?  Its my league, and all of us are responsible adults.  Unless someone here is currently competing in D1 I dont see why there would be a problem.

I dont need his approval to wager my money, we can take the betting off the forum if necessary.  Heck we could take the entire league somewhere else if we had to...

Lost, it's just the simple fact that this is V and Ray's site and we should abide by their rules (I have no idea where they stand on Gambling).

I'm all in.  Sort of like side bets.  No one is required to participate.

Maybe a disclaimer noting that TOM is not a sponsor nor does TOM condone gambling in any shape or form.
There are people I would take a bullet for and others that I would like to put a bullet in.

If for some reason they do not approve I will take the pot over to the TWT, or just conduct it outside the forum via text/email.  But I'm not going to have someone tell me whenand how I can bet my money, I'm pissed about all the bullshit government regulations we have on this kind of stuff as it is

Good thats two, Drooke are you in?  Depending on how many people we get I'll decide how we split the winnings.  On TWT I think we do top 4, but there we are dealing with like $300 in prize money.  We might just do top 2 here
