Ok some thoughts. This is a great site. Lots of info and news. But again it shows how poor our sport is marketed. One thing in todays world is that you can add new feeds. You know like at my blog, wrestling 411 and others. These guys do not have that feature. Anyways another example of us not mraketing the sport correctly and reaching the greatest amount of fans etc...

I got a polling request in my e-mail box the other day. It was a former college wrestler who is running it (my alzheimers prevents me from recalling his name but most of you would recognize it).

It looks like they are testing the waters once again to move the season to a full spring season. they are also testing the possiblity of making the National Dual Tournament the team championship.

I am and I see your point, but we do not need to hurt our already weak international competitiveness. I would not be all bent out of shape about it, just think it would have an adverse effect.

What if we move the college season up some to have NCAAs about now?  We'd be after football, before any of the Conference tournaments\March Madness basketball and we'd have plenty of time for freestyle\Greco.  The drawback would be getting on top of HS state tournaments who really can't move back much because of football players.
