   I'd hate to be the lone wrestler in the lineup not to qualify, he must be disappointed.  My senior year in HS, in Illinois, we qualified the entire team to sectionals with the exception to our heavyweight.  In the match he lost and got eliminated he ran over to the nearest wall and punched it so hard I thought be broke his hand.  I would've hated to be in his position.

The Augsburg Heavy had the true second match handed to him by the ref.  He may have gotten a wild card bid anyways, but he probably should have placed third in the qualifier.

Qualifying 9 is very impressive, however this isn't exactly the strongest conference in the country and when you get 26 bids, I'd expect a power-house like Augsburg would qualify just about everyone.  The impressive part is that they needed only one wild card en route to bring nine guys to nationals.  How many have they qualified in previous years?

Anything below 8 is a failure for them. Most years its 9-10. Dating back to the early 90's
